Junk Car Pickup Day: What to Expect

Once you've requested a quote and scheduled a pickup time, the actual pickup day is usually the simplest part of the whole process. Here's what to expect.

Before The Truck Arrives

Have your title, signed and ready, along with a valid photo ID. If someone other than the titled owner will be present, make sure they're authorized to sign on the owner's behalf, or arrange to have the owner present. Clear out any personal belongings from the vehicle ahead of time; once it's loaded, there's no easy way to go back through it.

Loading The Vehicle

We arrive with a flatbed and handle the loading ourselves, whether the vehicle runs, rolls, or needs to be winched on. You don't need to arrange your own tow or have the vehicle moved beforehand. If it's parked somewhere tight, like a narrow driveway or between other vehicles, mention that when you schedule pickup so we can plan for it.

Paperwork

We'll go over the paperwork with you on the spot, mainly signing over the title. It's a quick process, not a lengthy back-and-forth, and we'll walk you through exactly what needs to be signed.

Getting Paid

You're paid at the time your vehicle is picked up, once the paperwork is complete. There's no waiting on a check in the mail or a bank transfer to clear.

How Long Does It Take?

Most pickups take well under an hour from arrival to driving away with your vehicle loaded. Exact timing depends on your location and how your vehicle's condition compares to what was described when you requested a quote.
